We are purified by obedience to the truth, priests who offer spiritual sacrifices to God of proclamation of God's glory.
In suffering, remember your salvation and set your hope fully on the grace to be revealed.
What happens when we face trials, sufferings, and problems in our lives? Paul teaches us that we should actually expect such things, but that we should refocus on the greater glory that is beyond comparison with such sufferings. No one can bring charges against us, no one can condemn, and no one and no thing can separate us from Christ's love!
And in our lives, the Spirit intercedes for us according to God's will, God shapes us into the image of his Son, and Christ's love keep us secure!
If we find ourselves "east of Eden," away from God, we need to remember the gospel: God has chosen us, redeemed us, and promised us that we will be with him forever.
We died to sin in our baptisms. Our old self was crucified, buried with Christ in his death so that, just as he was raised from the dead we could walk in newness of life. Stop living like a sinner after receiving grace! Live out the implications of your baptism and present yourself to God for righteousness.
